The Skagit Valley Food Co-op has been a local staple in Washington since 1973, and its commitment to the community shows in every aisle. Tucked into downtown Mount Vernon at the heart of one of the most productive agricultural valleys in the Pacific Northwest, this member-owned natural foods market is a full-service grocery with an award-winning deli, a scratch bakery, and a tight-knit producer network deeply rooted in its surroundings. While it's member-owned, everyone is welcome to shop.

The Skagit Valley Co-op was the first produce department in the area to become certified organic, and offers nearly 200 organic fruits and vegetables sourced from local farms. They partner with local ranchers, farmers, and fisheries to offer high quality natural meats and wild-caught, sustainable seafood. The full-service deli creates freshly made sandwiches, salads, soups, wraps, and hot bar items daily, alongside an espresso bar and organic juice and smoothie counter. The in-house bakery produces fresh artisan breads, pastries, cookies, and seasonal specialties, including a sourdough loaf made from a starter that's over 100 years old.
