The Port Townsend Food Co-op has been a cornerstone of this Olympic Peninsula town since 1972, and walking through its doors you'll see a glimpse of the surrounding farming community. In this member-owned, full-service organic market, seasonal produce comes from local farms, artisan products line the shelves, and the bulk department alone could keep a curious cook busy for an hour.

The Food Co-op offers a well-stocked organic and natural grocery experience with a strong emphasis on locally grown produce and Pacific Northwest products. The meat and seafood cases including pasture-raised options and wild-caught Pacific salmon from nearby farms and fisheries. The cheese selection includes raw milk and farmstead varieties from producers right on the peninsula. The Deli Hot bar has a rotating menu of prepared foods made from scratch, and their bulk section here is one of the largest you'll find anywhere on the peninsula.
