Grass Roots packs a lot into a small store. The produce section is Tahoe's only fully organic produce department, sourced from local farms with three fresh deliveries a week. The grocery aisles are stocked with organic and non-GMO options across every category — dairy including raw milk, gourmet cheeses, frozen meals, organic grains, pastas, condiments, and a solid selection of snacks and treats. The bulk section carries organic flours, nuts, seeds, spices, loose herbs and teas, granola, trail mix, and gluten-free options. The craft beer and wine department leans local and organic, with biodynamic options and non-alcoholic alternatives as well.
