When you step inside Big John's PFI for the first time, you immediately feel like you've been let in on one of the best kept secrets for cooks and foodies. What started as "Big John" Croce selling imported olives and feta out of the back of his car grew into one of Seattle's most beloved specialty food institutions for Mediterranean foods, meats, and cheeses since 1971, and it's still run by the Croce family today.

At the heart of Big John's, you'll find a 30-foot meat and cheese case full of imported prosciutto, mortadella, salami, and a cheese selection that runs from creamy brie to cave-aged goudas to aged Manchego. The array of Mediterranean and European imports is unmatched, with each aisle dedicated to olive oils, small-batch vinegars, jams and preserves, olives, tomatoes, an impressive global condiment selection, and both fresh and dry pasta in every variety you can imagine. You'll also find a large selection of pantry staples, imported cookies, snacks, and chocolate.
